EURExpress Goals

Build the transcriptome atlas: map the spatiotemporal expression pattern of transcripts of 20,000 genes at cellular resolution in wild type mice.

Make data available to the scientific community by means of appropriately designed, searchable web database.

These strategic goals are achievable through a series of project goals:

  • To retrieve from public databases transcript maps
  • To obtain the expression pattern of > 20000 genes by ISH at E14.5
  • To integrate and validate the mouse data in human tissues using TMA
  • To annotate the expression patterns
  • To establish an online European database of gene expression
  • To Integrate the Eurexpress database with other bioinformatic resources
